Our students often do not have the gear or clothing they need to be comfortable in the outdoors. Shoes that are good in the rain, snow, and mud are especially in need.

We are also seeking gently used camping gear for when we set out late this spring and this summer for overnight trips.

A gift
Your gift today helps us to pay excellent educators for the gift of their teaching and guidance to our students. It helps us to buy rain gear, boots, or backpacks for our students. It enables us to enlist talented partners to teach rock climbing and paddling. In short, it enables us to do what we do--change lives. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Volunteer
If you love the outdoors, we'd love to have you with us for a hike, or a paddle, or a climb. Perhaps there is a skill or a set of knowledge you'd like to share with our students. Or, perhaps, you'd simply like to walk with us on our paths. Check out some specific volunteer opportunities here.

Partner
with Us
We are seeking partners who already work with teenagers from under-resourced families in Alexandria so that we might bring our programming to those young people. If you work with teenagers and can imagine the benefits they'd receive from time outdoors, away from screens, breathing fresh air, moving their bodies, making new friends, then please reach out to us and let's work together.
